Dorothy Day House's Berkeley Community Resource Center (BCRC) is our on-site drop-in center.

Through the BCRC program, Dorothy Day House provides the following services:

 

• Showers and Laundry services

  • 29,000 Showers and 2,960 loads of laundry provided in our 2020-2021 FY.​

• Closet: Free, functional clothing for those in need

  • The clothing closet is accessed by an average of 10 individuals per day.​

• Mail Services

• Locker Services

​

We have also partnered with Alameda County Healthcare for the Homeless to host free COVID-19 testing and vaccination clinics throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our BCRC program is sustained by the support and dedication of our donor and volunteer community.
